Volunteer Mediator Opportunities

The Dispute Resolution Center is staffed by an all-volunteer pool of mediators who must meet certain training requirements prior to any mediation they facilitate. Mediators must first take a 40-hour basic training class, followed by an additional 30-hour mediation training course specific to family issues before they can serve as a Dispute Resolution Center mediator. Mediators represent a wide variety of fields within the community, from business and education to retired individuals and homemakers.
